LGBTQIA+ Therapy

“…your silence will not protect you”

– Audre Lorde

Have you experienced the following?

  • Social isolation
  • Difficulty coming out
  • Pressure to be someone other than who you are

I enjoy working with clients who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, transsexual, transgender, cisgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and questioning. Together we can explore issues of identity, coming out, and gender transition.

I look forward to providing you with professional help and an understanding ear. Please contact me today for an appointment.

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, LGBTQIA+ individuals have triple the risk of developing a mental health disorder.  The 2017 KFF Disparities Policy report also found that LGBTQIA+ individuals experience higher levels of sexual and physical violence and substance abuse.
