    To undergo change or development

Have you been in therapy before and felt judged or misunderstood?  Are you looking to build on the progress you made in prior treatment? Are you taking the courageous step to try therapy for the first time? If you said yes to any of these questions, I am here to help. I provide a counseling environment where clients feel heard, valued, and accepted. I have a passion for helping those who are feeling stuck in life or in their relationships, may be challenged by anxiety or depression, or are looking to live a more authentic and confident existence. I bring expertise in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and with those exploring non-monogamy and I love working with creatives including artists, writers, and performers who must balance the unique way they experience the world with society’s expectations and norms.

My approach draws on a client’s own unique strengths and insight and pairs them with my expertise and guidance. This provides us with the tools we need to help you achieve your personal goals and BECOME who you want to be.  Through teletherapy sessions, you will be able to meet with me on a secure and private platform and enjoy the flexibility and accessibility that comes with online sessions. We will create a strong therapeutic relationship with the same effectiveness as face-to-face therapy. Now more than ever, it’s time to craft and live your best life. I am here to support and guide you on that quest. I look forward to hearing from you so we can get to the work of BECOMING.

    About Lisa May-Sachs (She/Her)

Finding the right fit between therapist and client is essential. Clients working with me often express a sense that we are working as a team and appreciate my warm, engaging, and interactive style.

I steer away from a “one-size fits all” approach and apply an eclectic range of theories and modalities tailored to the needs of my clients.
